I saved seeds from an organic red pepper I picked up at Whole Foods and decided to grow them out. The seedlings came up strong and healthy, and I have more than I need, so I'm offering the extras to fellow gardeners. I can't say for sure what the exact variety is since it was just a TASTEY grocery store pepper, but they're vigorous and well-rooted with nice green growth.

If you've been wanting to try growing peppers this season, these are a great low-cost way to get started. They do well in garden beds or containers, and with some sun and consistent watering, you should get a solid harvest by late summer.
