Barry's Crazy Cherry is a multiflora cherry tomato variety created by Brad Gates at Wild Boar Farms. The name is not an exaggeration. This thing produces enormous trusses of pale yellow, oval-shaped cherry tomatoes, sometimes 20 to 40 fruits on a single cluster. You can see what that looks like in the photo of me holding up a truly stunning cluster of delicious cherry tomatoes! The flavor is sweet with a little bit of acidity, and the skin is thin and crispy. They're perfect for snacking right off the vine, tossing in salads, or roasting whole.
These are indeterminate plants, so they'll keep growing and producing fruit all season until frost. They get big and vigorous, so plan on giving them a sturdy cage or stake to support those heavy trusses. Barry's Crazy Cherry matures in about 75 to 80 days and does well in the ground or in a large container. One plant is honestly enough for most households because the production is that heavy. If you've only ever grown regular cherry tomatoes, this variety will blow your mind.
